That means animal products, vegetables, low sugar fruits, and a good amount of healthy fat from sources such as animal fats, avocados, coconuts, and olive oil.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sleep is another essential piece of the cardiovascular puzzle. Most people need between seven or eight hours of sleep each night to function properly. Sleeping too lightly or too little<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.heart.org\/en\/health-topics\/sleep-disorders\/sleep-and-heart-health\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">can have negative consequences<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and is scientifically associated with<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ovadiahearthealth.com\/old-site\/2021\/09\/20\/the-causes-of-high-blood-pressure\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">high blood pressure<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and elevated triglyceride levels.
